The “On Time” Airline?

Waiting here in London Stansted for our flight to Leipzig which was meant to leave at 9:50am. So we had to get up at 3am to get the bus to the airport.

I love how cheap airlines (especially Ryanair) plasters their slogans and ads all over the airport. With their tagline “the on time airline” they certainly make a bold claim. And all we heard this morning (about 15 minutes after the gate was meant to be closed) was a calm “your plane is scheduled to arrive at 12 o’clock”.

And a further 20 minutes later the screens updated the departure time to 12:30. Quite a few hours late without a reason or explanation. And I keep reading “the on-time airline”… Riiight… You get what you pay for.
